  • Day 1 : 

    Arrive Ahmedabad

    Welcome to Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat. On arrival at Ahmedabad airport / railway station, begin your tour of  Gandhis Town. Check into your hotel.

    Later, proceed on a Heritage walk of Ahmedabad. The walk begins from the picturesque Swaminarayan Mandir in Kalupur and ends in the most glorious architectural legacies the Jumma Masjid, covering in between the numerous pols, havelis, ornamental facades, workplaces of artisans and number of magnificent Hindu and Jain temples. A special feature of Ahmedabad is the plan of the old city, comprising numerous pols, self contained neighbourhoods, sheltering large numbers of people, traversed by narrow streets, usually terminating in squares with community wells and chabutaras for feeding birds. Experience the glory of Ahmedabad and truly observe the nature of Architect, its art, its culture & traditions.

  • Day 2 : 

    In Ahmedabad * Excursion to Gandhinagar (25 kms /approx. 1 hours)

    Early in the morning, visit the capital city of Gujarat, Gandhinagar is one of the most planned cities in India. It is located by the shores of the River Sabarmati and is a well known tourist spot and commercial center.

    Gandhinagar is one of the popular parts of the itinerary of Gujarat travel. It is home to lots of religious, historical and cultural places. Some of the popular tourist attractions in Gandhinagar are Akshardham Gandhinagar, the most famous temple of “Swaminarayan Sect”, the richest sect in the world. The temple is built with 6000 tonnes of pink sandstone and has beautiful carvings.

    Visit the Indroda Nature Park (Deer Park, Dinosaur Park) located at the outskirts of the city near Indroda Village. It houses both Deer Park (Hiran Udhyan) and Dinosaur Park/ and its one of the best tourist spot for nature lovers. The park has various animals like Deer, Wild boar, Hare, Porcupine, various reptiles, and mammals. Science City, also known as Gujarat Science city is the bold initiative undertaken by Gujarat Government to popularize science by developing scientific temper among the masses.

  • Day 3 : 

    In Ahmedabad * Day Excursion to Modhera Sun Temple and Patan (257 kms / approx. 4 and a half hour drive) 

    This morning visit the Sun Temple at Modhera is the finest examples of Indian temple architecture of its period dedicated to the Sun-God, Surya that stands high on a platform. The space where the main deity is kept in the Modhera Sun Temple is called the Garbhagriha or sanctum sanctorum. Each inch of the Sun Temple, Modhera has a rich carving of Gods and Goddesses, birds, beasts and flowers both from inside and outside and comprises of a rectangular step tank or Surya Kund with 108 shrines. There are shrines of Vishnu, Ganesha and Natraj beside the Surya Kund.

    The interior of the Sun Temple of Modhera has beautifully carved pillars. The lavish sculptural decoration of the pillars of the Sun Temple, Modhera is instances of the flawless craftsmanship of the Solanki artisan. En route visit Patan that has over 100 Jain temples; visit Rani ki Vav, an excellent example of subterranean architecture of Gujarat.
    Rest of the evening is free for independent activities. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

  • Day 4 : 

    Depart Ahmedabad * Return home with happy memories

    Today bid farewell to your Gandhis Town as you are transferred to the Ahmedabad airport  railway station for your onward journey.
